Q4 2017: Truck T15

Model Mack Vision "Truck T15" is build with LEGO® in scale 1:17,5 and motorized using LEGO® Power Functions. It is a scale model of a Mack Vision 6x4 heavy duty truck with winch. This rather heavy lowboy trailer combination, which might include a load, requires some extra power.

  1. I really like what is coming next. The tanker looks really good. I will buy some of the parts ahead of time. What is the plate(wedge)..4 pieces that stick out of the top of this MOC? I usually know my parts but this piece is a puzzle!!

    1. Hi Peter! :-) Thanks so much for the kind words...I am glad that you like what you see!

      It is a combination of three parts: 54384 + 3031 + 54383, a Wedge Plate + Plate + Wedge Plate...does this help?

      Cheers! Ingmar

    1. Hello Glen, Thanks for your message and support! ;-) As you may understand this Vision is like the Orange Granite especially designed to go with the lowboy trailer. This with or without the jeep en booster...but after all adding all these wheels is by far the best!!! ;-)

  3. Have jeep and lowboy trailer built also have motomats American truck but seems to struggle with pulling all the extra weight may be batteries but not sure so looking at one of yours and love the look of the vision with a winch unit think this will work well with the trailer combination as the winch could be used to recover plant as well. Take it that the part list for the granite truck is not to different from the vision so if start on collecting those parts will have most of required parts when instructions avalible

    1. Okay I see! I have no experience with his builds, he is a nice guy BTW... :-) All I can say is that my models are very well engineered and in this case the truck is build to go with the full lowboy setup...!

About the Granite parts, you are right, but the Vision will hold about 600 more pieces or so...that is "all"...

  7. Hi. It's nice to see someone building trucks and earth moving machines. I've been a equipment operator for 18 years and a lego fanatic all my life. I've only been seriously building legos again for a few years now and totally hooked. I'm not much of a designer but I love to build. Where can I get plans for these builds? I would love to add these to my collection.

    1. Hi Jason,

Thanks so much for your message. That is an awesome combination an equipment operator that loves LEGO. Well exactly those people are the group that I try to help. As Peter already mentioned are the building instructions for sale at MOCplans.com. The ones I have building instructions for are available there. Currently I'm working on new models to add this collections...

Thanks again for you interest and kind words. Hopefully this helps and ideally you would be building some of these soon right?

  13. Hello!

I am looking to build the T18 truck in White if that can be done.

I work for a company that has a fleet of these and want to give this to the owner as a gift.

Any idea how long before the instructions for this kit will be out?

It looks amazing by the way!!!!!!!!!!

This will be my very first build attempt in 20 years. I can not wait to build this thing!!!!!!

We have a few flat top trucks that look just like that one.
And several condo trucks that have the taller sleeper. I wonder how hard it would be to add that condo top section?

    Thanks!!!!!!

    1. Hello,

What a pleasant message to read! :-) I'm all excited about it...

Cool idea to give it to the owner as a gift and yes it can be done in White. I'm even thinking of doing instructions for both an advanced color scheme and just plain solid White or Yellow. Thanks for the suggestion anyways! :-)

Nice to see that you've got the plan to start building again after 20 years or so. Happened to me the same back in 2007. All I can tell it's cool to start building again also because there are so many new cool parts released. You'll be surprised...

It can be done to give it that condo top sections, but won't be easy. Actually I would love to give it a try myself someday, but didn't get to it yet. Maybe you can just start with the flat top and see from there?

The plan is to release it in Q2 and hopefully that'll be in April the latest. We'll see and I'm so excited about your interest for this build it give me even more encouragement to go ahead...

      Best wishes,

  20. Hi Ingmar,

Will the instructions for the truck T18 be released soon? I have the T12 and low boy trailer combi but the t12 has a shortage of power with a heavy load. At least....thats my opinion :).

    With kind regards,

    Frank
